Tournament Structure:

Players will be separated into three age divisions:

Junior Division born 2006 or later
Senior Division born  2002, 2003,2004 or 2005
Master Division born 2001 or earlier

All  rounds will be played Swiss style with the deck that you constructed.  In the Swiss format, players are expected to keep playing each round, regardless if you win or lose unless you drop from the event.  Players have 30 minutes plus 3 turns to complete each round, with each player putting out 6 prize cards.   Players receive one point per win, lose or tie.  The word “BYE” means a free win for that round.  The number of rounds depends on the attendance of the event.  Top cut rounds will be used at these events and the number of player in top cut depend on attendance.  Top cut rounds will use 60 minutes as a time limit.

What to Bring and Know:

1.) Your  Pokémon Player Number.  If you don’t have a Player Number, one will be given to you at the event.  You must activate this online at www.pokemon.com after the event at your earliest convenience.
2.) A die and some damage counters
3.) Money for lunch
4.) Any player may participate in the event unless you have been suspended from  Pokémon.  All players must abide by the Pokémon floor rules.
