February 28, 2015, Saturday: TCG Regional Championship Tournament

 Registration: 8:00-9:00am

Event Begins: 9:30am

(You need to sign in online before 9:00am to be in the event without a round one loss.)

Format: Swiss Rounds: Standard      Top Cuts and Top Cut Rounds: Extended

Entry: Juniors and Seniors Free            Masters: $20.00

You will be responsible to know the information on this sheet to cut down on announcements made at the event.  They will be available on site as well.

Participants will receive an exclusive regional promo card while supplies last!
There will be raffles throughout the day for cool Pokémon merchandise.
 
 The first 300 players to turn in a decklist Saturday will receive a custom regional die.
The first 100 players to turn in a Regional decklist Friday between 6:00-9:00pm get a second
custom regional die of a different color.
 
Regional food offered by the hotel for lunch.
Lunch concession stand: Different Limited “Buffet” Type : Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Sandwich, or Chicken Fingers. Comes with Fries and a Soda or Bottled Water @ $8.00 each (inclusive of all charges).
They take cash only. They will pre sell tickets during registration to speed up the process of getting food at lunch. There is an ATM on site.

All participants will receive 3 Play! Points, and a Pokémon Regional Championships promo card (while supplies last), just for playing!Master players I have added some extra prizes for the top placing players.  I have noted the extra prizes by putting (extra prize added by Organizer).  The first 250 Masters that turn in decklist either Friday or Saturday morning will receive a special color regional die in addition to the one received for being in the event if your one of the first 300 players to turn in a decklist .  See below for all the details.
1st Place

  • A Pokémon TCG Regional Championships 1st Place award
  • A first- and second-round bye at the U.S. National Championships*

    • Masters Division players receive an additional 144 packs (216 total)

Top Cut Rounds and Top Cuts will be played in the extended format for all age divisions.

Top rounds and cuts players need to arrive at 8:30 am with a new decklist filled out.

General Event Information:

Tournament Structure:

Player will be separated into three age divisions

Juniors 2004 or later

Seniors 2000-2003

Masters 1999 or earlier

 

TCG Modified Format:Standard Format

TCG Extended Format:Expanded

VGC Modified Format:VGC format regionals

 

 

What to bring and know:

1) Your Pokémon Player Number.  If you don’t have a Player number, one will be given to you at the event.  You must activate this online at www.pokemon.com after the event at your earliest convenience.

2)      TCG Player: A deck in the modified format, a die, damage counters, and special condition markers.

3)       VGC: Pokémon game Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire and charger.

4)      Money for lunch and dinner.

5)      Any player may participate in the event unless they have been suspended from Pokémon.  All player must abide by the Pokémon floor rules.
